How to Measure Seat Width
- Sit on a firm chair or bench with a straight back
- Measure the widest part of your hips or thighs
- Add 1-2 inches for clothing and comfort
Tip: If the wheelchair is too wide, you may have difficulty propelling it and navigating through doorways. If it's too narrow, it can cause pressure sores and discomfort.

How to Measure Seat Depth
- Sit with your back against a wall or straight surface
- Measure from the wall to the back of your knee
- Subtract 1-2 inches to ensure clearance behind the knees
Tip: If the seat is too deep, it will press against the back of your knees, affecting circulation. If it's too shallow, it won't provide enough thigh support.

How to Measure Seat Height
- Measure from the back of your knee to the bottom of your heel
- Add 2 inches for proper footrest clearance
Tip: The footrest should be about 2 inches from the floor. Your feet should be supported, but not carrying too much weight.

How to Measure Back Height
- Measure from the seat surface to mid-shoulder blade for basic support
- For users needing more support, measure to the top of the shoulder
- For users with limited trunk control, measure to the base of the neck or higher
