A: The electric breast pump comes pre-assembled, however you need to re-assemble it after each cleaning. Before assembling, the parts that come in contact with breast milk directly, including milk bottle, silicone cushion, breast shield body, membrane, valve, grid, damper, bottle cap, disc collar (if use standard bottle), should be cleaned and sterilized each time. We have also included a video showing you how to re-assemble your Pure Expressions Breast Pump correctly.

Q: Will pumping every 2 hours increase milk supply?
A: Pumping every two hours should help to increase your milk supply; however, it is recommended to pump at least every three hours during the day.
