"I bought the chair because it was wider between the armrests and for the lift assist. My wife has severe scoliosis and her shoulders are off set to the right about 3” from her hips . She also has a pain pump implanted on the right side ,so she can’t get centered on the opening which is narrow compared to her previous chair. That and the distance down to the top of the catch pan makes her miss the pan a lot of the time. Having to slide the pan in and out is a pain compared to lifting a bucket in and out like the old chair."
